Retail Administrator

Are you passionate about the underwater world and have a knack for providing excellent customer service? Do you have experience in a retail environment and an interest of both marine and freshwater aquatic life? If so, Aqua Group has an exciting opportunity for you!

About the role:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Retail Administrator to join our team.

Full time

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service.
Organising customers orders for shipping.
Update and maintain product listings.
Process landing documents, alongside new line forms within a timely manner.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
Monitor stock levels and inform management of low or out-of-stock items.
Daily record keeping and compliance with company policies and protocols.
Answer customer inquiries via phone and in-person.
Comp shop new and existing products.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

Proven previous experience in a retail environment, ideally within the pet or aquatics industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently under own initiative with high attention to detail and collaboratively as part of a team.
Shopify knowledge.
Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as required.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development within the role.

Desirable (but not essential):

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
Full clean UK driving license and personal vehicle.

Do you possess at least 1-2 years of experience in aquatics retail? Hobbyists with advanced, demonstrable knowledge of aquatic husbandry and aquarium systems gained through personal ownership and maintenance will also be considered.
