Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter/Pot Washer to join our busy culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in delivering high-quality service. The position offers valuable experience within the hospitality industry and is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations.

Duties

Responsible for washing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team
Support the organisation of dishware and kitchen supplies for smooth operation during service
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including floors, surfaces, and storage spaces
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed at all times to uphold a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
