Accounts Assistant | Castle Donington (Hybrid)

The rewards:

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 2:00pm

The role of Accounts Assistant:

Maintaining and reconciling daily cash book entries across all bank accounts
Posting and allocating bank receipts and payments accurately
Performing daily bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
Monitoring cash balances and assisting with short-term cash flow reporting
Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Matching invoices to purchase orders and obtaining appropriate approvals
Supporting audits by providing documentation and explanations
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
Routine journal processing and ad hoc finance tasks

The ideal Accounts Assistant:

Early in career and looking to gain experience, or seeking a stable long-term role
Good understanding of bookkeeping and finance processes
Keen attention to detail and organised
