Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and defects, recommending repairs or replacements as necessary
Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation
Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tyres and wheels safely
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
Follow health and safety regulations at all times during tyre fitting operations

Qualifications

Experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance is a must
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in tyre fitting processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Must be able to work in a team
