Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems within commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in a professional environment, ensuring high standards of safety and quality are maintained at all times. Applicants must be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver exceptional service.

Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and implementing effective solutions promptly.
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete various tasks efficiently.
Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair work.
Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system faults and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
Assisting with the assembly of new systems or components on-site, ensuring precise fitting and secure connections.
Operating commercial driving vehicles when required for transporting materials or equipment between sites.
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations at all times.
Domestic Plumbing & Heating will be required

Skills

Proficiency in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair within a commercial setting.
Experience with welding, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to heating systems and associated components.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks.
Basic maths skills for measuring, calculating pipe sizes, or system capacities accurately.
Familiarity with assembly processes for system components or fixtures.
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations; valid driving licence preferred but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally.

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
