Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Tea Room Assistant to join our welcoming team in Lavenham. This role is vital in ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable experience through excellent service and attention to detail. Join us in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
Responsibilities

Greet and serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
Prepare and serve food and beverages, including tea, coffee, and light snacks.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the tea room.
Assist with food preparation and presentation.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly.
Support the team in daily operations to ensure smooth running of the tea room.
Follow food safety regulations and procedures.
Handle cash transactions accurately when necessary.
Qualifications
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Barista experience is a plus.
Friendly, approachable manner with a passion for customer service.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
