Location: Ledbury
Hours: Temporary: 30-40 hours, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Contract Type: Temporary
Salary: £21,600-£27,000 Pro rata

Job Summary

Willys ACV Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts/Office Administration Assistant to oversee the day-to-day accounts and administrative tasks of the business. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining accurate accounts records, producing timely management information, and supporting the team across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Processing sales and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
Preparing and issuing customer invoices alongside supporting documentation
Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting sales and purchase ledger activities
Liaising with suppliers, customers, and international head office colleagues
Providing general office and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintaining and updating information within online accounting systems and internal databases

Applicants to this role require

Competent using Xero, Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel, alongside accounting software. Experience implementing new systems advantageous
Previous experience within a similar office-based role, assisting the finance function
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating as part of a team
High level of attention to detail
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Minimum Requirements

GCSE Maths & English – Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a similar role preferable

Excel skills, particularly pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively to deadlines
Strong organisational and communication skills

Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
Professional and able to handle confidential information
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required
