Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional Breakfast a Lunch time experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary experience and demonstrate strong leadership skills to manage the kitchen efficiently. This role requires a deep understanding of food production, food safety standards, and the ability to create innovative menus that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Develop and implement menus that align with seasonal availability and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen at all times.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor food costs and adjust recipes as necessary to maintain profitability.
Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques into the menu offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership qualities, capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
A passion for culinary excellence and creativity in menu design.

Negotiable days and hours per week:
Maximum of 5 days a week, minimum of 3 days a week
