Job Description

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to ensure our children have a safe and happy lunchtime, both in the dining room and on the playground. If you're looking for a fulfilling role during school hours, this permanent, term-time position could be perfect for you. As a Midday Supervisor, you will look after our children at lunchtime, in the dining room and in the playground to ensure that they remain safe.

This is a permanent role is ideal for someone looking to work during the day and in term-time only. You will be working for 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day Monday to Friday, from 1 September 2026.

About the role
As a Midday Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the children’s lunchtime experience by:

Supporting and promoting good behaviour and positive interactions.
Being a role model and setting a positive example for the children.
Supervising children in the dining room, helping to serve meals, and ensuring lunchtime runs smoothly.
Overseeing playtime activities, whether in the playground or indoors on rainy days, and encouraging fun, healthy, and active play.
Encourage positive behaviour and a healthy lifestyle by leading playtime games.
