Job Summary
Office Assistant – Local Care Provider Based at our Westcliff office
3 days per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £12.80 per hour

Summercare are seeking a reliable and organised Office Assistant to join our friendly team at our Westcliff office. The role involves providing essential clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate data records and filing systems (both electronic and paper-based)
Handle correspondence via phone and email, including responding to queries and taking messages
Organise files and prepare documents, reports, and presentations
Review and verify agency invoices by contacting services directly
Support with general office duties to ensure efficiency and professionalism
Learn and assist with various office functions, including Payroll, Maintenance, and our Digital Care Planning System

Skills and Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication and organisational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Willingness to learn and progress within the role
