Full job description

MOST Bakery is an independent, family-run, award-winning artisan bakery in the heart of Altrincham.

We'd like to hear from talented bakers and pastry chefs who would like to join our friendly and passionate team. Creativity, collaboration and continuous learning are at the heart of what we do, and we pride ourselves on fostering a fun, inclusive and supportive working environment.

THE ROLE

- Applicants interested in both full and part-time roles will be considered

BAKERS

You will:

Bake a range of artisan breads, including sourdough, enriched and yeasted products
Have a solid understanding of sourdough and other fermentation processes
Share our passion for long-fermented breads and high-quality ingredients
Be enthusiastic about learning, developing your skills and exploring new ideas
Contribute to product development alongside the wider bakery team
Help maintain high standards of quality, consistency and organisation

PASTRY CHEFS

You will:

Produce cakes, patisserie, brownies & blondies, cookies, and other sweet treats from scratch
Prepare fillings, creams, garnishes and other pastry components
Be confident in finishing, decorating and piping products to a high standard
Work alongside our Head Pastry Chef and wider team on product development
Help maintain high standards of quality, consistency and presentation
Experience with viennoiserie is desirable but not essential

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

At least two years' experience working in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen
A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organised and attentive to detail
Availability for early morning and weekend shifts
