Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various wooden structures and fittings. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble woodwork, including bespoke doors, windows, and stairs
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters , to complete projects efficiently.
Perform heavy lifting as required for the transportation of materials and installation of fixtures.
Carry out painting and finishing tasks on completed joinery work.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety standards are met.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with a solid understanding of carpentry principles.
Ability to use hand tools effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks.
Experience with woodworking machinery
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects.
Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
