Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance our online presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, with a passion for the automotive industry. This role involves creating engaging content, managing brand reputation, and fostering positive relationships with our audience to promote our dealership and services effectively. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our brand image and connect with automotive enthusiasts through innovative digital strategies. The platforms need to primarily focus on Instagram/TIKTOK/Youtube.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the automotive sector.
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including images, videos, and articles that resonate with our target audience.
Manage daily interactions on social media channels, responding promptly to comments, messages, and reviews to maintain a positive brand image.
Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimise content performance and engagement metrics.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align social media campaigns with overall business objectives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive industry developments and incorporate relevant topics into social media content.
Handle public relations activities online, including managing any potential crises or negative publicity professionally.
Organise promotional events or campaigns in collaboration with other departments or external partners.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management within the automotive industry or related fields.
Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices for online reputation management.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Ability to analyse social media metrics using analytics tools to inform strategy adjustments.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and branding consistency.
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
A passion for automobiles combined with knowledge of current digital marketing trends is highly desirable.
