Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our authentic Italian restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Italian pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimise waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pizza station, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation for other dishes as required, supporting overall kitchen operations.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure perfect results consistently.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and a memorable dining experience.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients.
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for both colleagues and guests.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong cooking skills with specific expertise in pizza making or Italian cuisine is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food hygiene standards.
- Previous restaurant experience involving meal preparation and serving is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a busy kitchen setting.
