Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automatic Door & Access Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves , installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated door systems and access control solutions across various commercial and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in network integration with a a good knowledge of Paxton NET 2 Systems . This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a reputable organization committed to safety, innovation, and quality service.

Duties

Install, commission, and maintain automatic door systems and access control hardware, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve operational issues efficiently.
Integrate access control systems with computer networking and telecommunication infrastructure, including CCTV and IDS components..
Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely to carry out installation tasks.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimise system performance and longevity.
Document work activities thoroughly for compliance records and future reference.

Experience

Proven experience in electrical or mechanical engineering related to automated systems or access control solutions.
Strong knowledge of computer networking, computer hardware, CCTV systems, and Paxton NET 2 .
Practical understanding of construction processes relevant to installing access control devices in various environments.
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment required for system installation.
Knowledge of electrical wiring standards, and basic troubleshooting techniques is essential.
Experience in Automatic doors, access control systems, door entry systems, cctv systems and Electronic security systems

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
