Accounts Assistant – Exciting Career Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Assistant to join our growing team and play a key role in our financial operations.

In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of the business—supporting accurate financial processes, managing data with precision, and working closely with our Directors to help drive the company forward. Duties

Utilise accounting software (Xero) to record financial data
Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Reconcile accounts and prepare reports to support financial analysis
Undertake month-end and year end procedures.
Support the team in maintaining organised records of all transactions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date-product stock levels across Company websites including placing orders to replenish stock as appropriate.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely processing of financial information
Production of KPI’s and timely management information from accounts software and e-commerce systems to assist other team members.
Ensure correct treatment of VAT, Import and Export Duty.

Skills

Proven experience with accounting software including Xero.
AAT qualification would be an advantage
Strong data entry skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Knowledge of office packages
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in a similar role within a professional environment is desirable but not essential

Pay: £14.00 per hour
