Hire Desk Sales Advisor - Houghton Regis, Beds

Due to our continuous growth and success, we are looking to expand our Sales team based at our new modern offices in Houghton Regis.

As a result, we are seeking an experienced inbound/outbound Telesales Advisor to join our Hire Desk team in our offices. You will work with our clients to find the correct hire for their site, using your sales skills to negotiate and convert hire enquiries into orders via phone and email.

Responsibilities:

Handling inbound and outbound calls and emails
Negotiating and converting hire enquiries into orders
Using sales techniques to maximise cross-selling opportunities
Identifying and interpreting the best access solution for customers' requirements
Reading and understanding product specifications
Solving problems and multi-tasking within a busy office environment

Requirements:

Previous experience in a sales/hire office, customer service or call centre (preferably in the hire industry, but training will be provided)
Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Ability to build a rapport with customers, suppliers, and other team members alike
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Ability to read and understand product specifications
Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
Positive "can-do" attitude
Familiarity with MS Office and basic maths skills to calculate customer quotations
