Full job description

Here at GXO, we’re seeking a HR Administrator to join our contract based in Crick. You’ll be at the heart of the HR function – providing efficient, proactive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. Supporting the HR Advisor, you’ll ensure processes are compliant, records are accurate, and colleagues receive a professional and timely HR service.

This is a full time, 12-month fixed term position. Based on-site, you will work Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00 or 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Managing HR systems, employee records, and personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance
Supporting recruitment activities including interview coordination and onboarding administration
Handling absence processes, probation tracking, and leaver administration
Preparing HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and meeting packs
Responding to employee and manager queries while maintaining HR inbox SLAs

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience within a HR administrative role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
