This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to begin their journey into childcare and early years education with our supportive and experienced team.
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience alongside completing your Early Years qualification and building the foundations for a rewarding long-term career.

No previous childcare experience is required — just enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will:
- Work towards achieving your Early Years qualification within the agreed apprenticeship timescale
- Follow a structured development programme supported by both the training provider and nursery team
- Complete your nursery induction programme with support from a dedicated mentor
- Work closely with your mentor and keep them updated on your progress and development
- Support staff to observe, plan, and maintain children’s learning and development records
- Learn and develop a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child welfare
- Assist with creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children
- Share responsibility for children’s care, wellbeing, health, safety, and cleanliness across the setting
- Gain valuable practical experience across all areas of nursery life
