About the Job:

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of our warehouse. This is a practical hands-on role and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a small supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and safely store inward products
Pick, prepare and dispatch outward products to our customers
Using the warehouse computer system, booking items in and out, updating stock levels and completing simple data entry
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and yard organization
Carry out stock counts and assist with regular inventory audits
Follow all health and safety and quality system procedures

Key Requirements:

You must be able to undertake manual handling
Have a good understanding of all warehouse functions
Forklift Truck License
Basic PC literacy and the ability to use the systems applicable to the warehouse or capability to use them after suitable training
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Have excellent organizational skills, be flexible and adapt to change
Knowledge of the safe systems of work specified for the warehouse and of the H&S policies/procedures that apply to the company premises and its operations
Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision to consistently hit the targets agreed with our customers or set by the company
