This is a long term project and we are looking for an experienced Site Managers, and Site Engineers with a background in groundworks as key members of the team.
Essential Requirements for the Site Engineer role are;
- All aspects of setting out and levels.
- Surveys.
- Checking drawings and quantities.
- Produce cut and fill reports
- Taking off materials.
- Working with a number of gangs.
- Liaising with any consultants and / or sub-contractors engaged in the project
- QA
Key Skills:
- Hardworking / timekeeping and reliability.
- Prioritising work areas / gangs.
- Competent using total stations and GPS.
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- A commercial understanding of budgets and timelines for projects
- Good communication skills at all levels to enable you to work with clients, construction managers, subcontractors etc
- Technical know-how
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of IT knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant building and health and safety legislation
Essential Requirements for the Site Manager role are;
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Live locally or a travelable distance.
- Groundworks experience
- I.T. Literate
- Forward planning of activities and material requirements.
- Briefing operatives on daily tasks and monitoring progress.
- Working in accordance with RAMS
The following additional skills would be very useful;
- Enhanced I.T. skills
- First Aid
