We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative (part-time) to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standard, starting as quickly as next Friday 29th May.

We are looking for conscientious individuals to become part of a small team, the main essence of the job entails cleaning holiday caravans and lodges based at Kirby Misperton.

The role and cleaning days are a Monday and Friday, there may be other days during the week when required, hours will normally be 10-3pm but with a degree of flexibility required to work later when necessary.

On occasion you may also be requested to assist in the cleaning of other areas and facilities on the holiday park, and the outside areas of the holiday lets.

In all aspects of the jobs, attention to detail is vitally important with cleanliness also of paramount importance and an excellent work ethic being vital. The ability to work to strict timescales is essential.

Experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial environments, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all designated areas
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work commitments
Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated shifts
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies
