Who we are and what is important to us:
Beyond unifies three technology-driven brands, Wonde, Evouchers and Secure Schools.
Each brand shares a vision to reduce the friction of adapting technology, to help customers navigate an often overwhelming area and provide powerful solutions that make their everyday life easier.
The three brands run independently with the autonomy to continue to prosper although as part of the Beyond team, you’ll join a wider, supportive environment where you’ll be able to pull on the expertise and capabilities of the group.
We do not limit ourselves to standing still. We look ahead and strive to disrupt the sector we operate in. We believe technology should not be complicated or overwhelming. It should do what it says - quickly, safely and efficiently.
Job snapshot:
We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team in a newly created role that offers real ownership, variety, and visibility across the wider group.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just sit in the background producing numbers. You’ll play a key part in helping the business understand performance, improve reporting, and keep the finance function running smoothly across three international organisations within our group portfolio.
We’re open to people who are either part-qualified or fully qualified - what matters most to us is experience. We’re looking for someone who has operated in a Management Accountant role before and feels comfortable owning processes, working independently, and bringing strong finance expertise into a lean, collaborative team.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Take full ownership of the month-end process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the group.
-
Prepare reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls across multiple entities.
-
Producing monthly reporting packs and management information across multiple countries that support business performance and decision-making.
-
Investigate and explain variances against budgets and forecasts to help stakeholders understand key movements and trends.
-
Manage intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment across the wider group structure.
-
Post journals, accruals, and prepayments to support a smooth and efficient close process.
-
Support budget and forecasting activities, providing insight that helps the business plan effectively.
-
Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and ways of working as the business continues to evolve.
-
Partnering with stakeholders across the organisations to provide clear, reliable financial information and support.
-
Supporting wider finance activities, including occasional Accounts Receivable support during busy periods or where additional support is needed.
Requirements
What we’re hoping you’ll bring:
-
Proven experience working in a Management Accountant role, with the confidence to take ownership of key finance processes from day one.
-
Strong month-end experience, including reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and management reporting.
-
Experience in dealing with entities and compliance across multiple countries.
-
Someone who can work independently and proactively within a lean team environment, without needing significant day-to-day direction.
-
Experience working across multiple entities, group structures, or complex reporting environments would be highly beneficial.
-
Part-qualified or qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) — we’re open on qualification level, but hands-on experience in a similar role is essential.
-
Comfortable analysing financial information, investigating variances, and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders.
-
A naturally organised and detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
-
Someone who enjoys improving processes and finding smarter, more efficient ways of working.
-
Strong Excel and finance systems experience, with confidence working across reporting tools and large volumes of data.
-
A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the willingness to support the wider finance team where needed.
