Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter Decorator / Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services, as well as performing general handyman tasks to maintain and improve residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a variety of projects, ensuring client satisfaction through professional workmanship.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer or undercoat as required
Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes with precision and attention to detail
Repair, maintain, and install fixtures, fittings, or other property elements as needed
Assist with minor construction or renovation tasks including carpentry, plastering, or tiling
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised during and after completion of tasks
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Drive company vehicles to various sites as required for project mobilisation or material transportation

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related handyman roles
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
Good command of English language, both spoken and written
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Practical knowledge of tools, materials, and safety procedures relevant to painting and general maintenance tasks
Organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
