Requirements:
As a Food Beverage Supervisor you will be expected to deputise for the Food Beverage Manager in their absence. You will be required to play a vital role in leading and developing the team.
The ideal person will have at least 1 year’s experience in a similar position and will have the ability to deliver great service to our guests.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, reliable and willing to learn.
Duties will include:
- To deliver excellence across all Food and Beverage activities, maximising profits and
exploiting opportunities for improved efficiencies and to effectively lead and
develop a highly-motivated team to exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure departments are meeting set criteria, through confirming that all employees consistently achieve product and hospitality service standards.
- To empower the team to be able to handle all guest feedback positive and negative.
- To ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the food and beverage operation.
- Ensure that Company and legal standards for cleanliness are maintained within all food and beverage areas.
- Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.
- Deputise for the Food Beverage Manager in their absence.

In total The George Hotel sports 47 bedrooms, offering a choice of standard single rooms or twin and double rooms at a standard, premier or superior tier. Each room contains the familiar comforts including a tea and coffee making station, in-room safe, en-suite and TV.
The George’s on-site restaurant serves breakfast and evening meals with a diverse menu that incorporates much of the local and regional produce served with a modern twist. During the day, guests are welcome to visit the bar for a light lunchtime meal.
The hotel’s leisure club is also open for guests. This includes a swimming pool and gym for visitors who would like to relax or fit in an early morning or late evening workout during their stay.
