Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting culinary operations, and ensuring a smooth workflow. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a professional hotel setting, with exposure to food preparation, cooking, and hospitality services. The ideal applicant will be proactive, reliable, and eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen cleaning tasks to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Support chefs and kitchen staff with dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
Ensure all areas of the kitchen are kept clean, organised, and safe in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Help with the replenishment of supplies and stock management as directed by senior staff.
Support serving staff during busy periods by clearing tables and assisting with general hospitality duties.
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and adhere to uniform policies at all times.
Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or issues promptly to management.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or culinary processes is advantageous.
Experience working in a busy kitchen or hospitality setting will be beneficial.
A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service is essential.
Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the hospitality sector is highly valued.
