Full job description

Job Description;-

A small friendly team seeks an experienced Credit controller able to work on own initiative. Good record of debt collecting and managing own work load essential with an understanding of B2B contractual obligations.

This is a varied role which includes;-

Engaging with customers with arrears via phone, email, letters, and digital channels.
Manage payment processing, monitor daily receipts, and follow up promptly on overdue accounts.
Maintain accurate records, including notes, transactions, and documentation.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and other customer concerns promptly.
Contribute to administrative tasks, and ad-hoc duties to support the wider business.

This opportunity would suit someone with previous finance or accounts experience who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a professional team.

Knowledge of small claims court procedures advantageous.

Good working Knowledge of Sage 50 required.

An understanding of excel to the level of providing basic debtors reports on a monthly basis and maintaining simple excel databases for the purpose of billing and record keeping.

The role consists mainly of chasing debtors for payments, sending invoices and statements in a timely fashion, processing credits, payments, monthly scheduled billings, assisting with administration of B2B contracts and assisting accountant with ad hoc duties.

This is an onsite role. No remote working available.

Part time hours, Mon to Fri - 1pm to 5pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.75 per hour
