Full job description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and provide technical support to production operations in the manufacture of subsea products.

Responsibilities:

Devise methods of manufacture including tooling, fixturing and inspection.
Highlight project specific tooling needs for customer products. Manages development of new tooling to facilitate manufacturing techniques.
Create & simulate NC programs using CAD/CAM & simulation software.
Use tool management system for creation of toolkits etc.
Create and manage shop documentation (Routings, Dimensional checklists, Weld maps etc) in accordance with manufacturing processes.
Take innovative approaches to problem-solving relating to the manufacturability of subsea products.
With limited direction from Manager, identify and manage small improvement & productivity projects to completion.
Working on NCR Resolution & proposing technical support to customer engineering department
Prioritize and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
Engage in all HSE initiatives to ensure high levels of health and safety are adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.
Document technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments.
Participate in technical and program reviews.

Requirements:

HNC or equivalent experience in mechanical/production engineering,
Manual/CNC Machining experience.
Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
Understanding of GD&T and impact manufacturing methods have in achieving them.
Computer literate with strong MS Office knowledge.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Desired Characteristics:

Siemens NX CAD/CAM software experience.
CGTech Vericut software experienced.

Pay: £44,000.00-£49,000.00 per year
