Role Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to support our construction team on a variety of building projects. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople, maintain site safety and cleanliness, and help ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting builders, carpenters, bricklayers, and other tradespeople on-site.
Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
Preparing and clearing work areas before, during, and after construction activities.
Mixing and preparing construction materials as required.
Operating basic hand and power tools safely.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Following health and safety procedures and site regulations at all times.
Assisting with demolition, excavation, and general construction tasks.
Performing other duties as directed by site supervisors.

Requirements

Previous construction or labouring experience preferred but not essential.
Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Awareness of health and safety practices on construction sites.
Valid driving licence preferred.
CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain one).

Full UK driving licence.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Desirable Skills

Experience in bricklaying, plastering, carpentry, roofing, or groundworks.
CSCS card.
Plant or machinery operation experience.
First Aid qualification.
