Full job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Graduate Surveyor to join our growing Agency department in Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a young, vibrant and highly active commercial property team, working on a varied and interesting caseload across the County.

The successful candidate will assist with the day to day sales and lettings of a wide range of commercial properties including industrial, office, retail and investments, whilst also gaining valuable exposure across all areas of general practice surveying.

Alongside agency work, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop experience in landlord and tenant matters, rent reviews and lease renewals, providing an excellent platform for someone looking to build a long term career in commercial property.

We are looking for an agile and motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn within a fast paced professional environment.

The Role

Assisting with commercial property sales and lettings
Carrying out property inspections and accompanied viewings
Preparing marketing particulars and agency reporting
Liaising with landlords, occupiers, investors and developers
Supporting negotiations on leases and transactions
Assisting with landlord & tenant matters including rent reviews and lease renewals
Working closely with surveyors across a broad range of commercial property instructions

The Ideal Candidate

Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop a career in commercial property
Good communication skills, both verbally and in written form
Computer literate with strong organisational skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Professional and personable approach with clients and colleagues
Full UK driving licence + access to a vehicle

Consideration will also be given to individuals currently working in the residential sector who can demonstrate a strong work ethic, commercial awareness and a positive attitude towards learning and development.

APC & Career Development

Full support will be given to a Graduate wishing to progress their career towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor through the APC qualification process. You will work alongside experienced surveyors, gaining hands-on exposure across a diverse range of commercial property disciplines within a supportive team environment.
