We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join our Client Services team. This role would suit someone who already has experience working in a financial advice firm and is looking to become part of a friendly, professional and progressive business.
Work-life balance is important to us and our office hours are 8.30am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 12.30pm on Friday.
The Role
As a key member of our Client Services team, you will provide administrative support to advisers and paraplanners, helping ensure that client journeys run smoothly from initial enquiry through to ongoing reviews.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has experience working within a financial planning, wealth management or IFA firm and can quickly become a valued member of the team. Applicants should have at least 12 months experience in a financial planning administration role and be confident working within established advice processes and regulatory requirements.
You will play an important role in maintaining high service standards and helping us create additional capacity as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
· Supporting advisers and paraplanners with day-to-day administration
· Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
· Preparing documentation and review packs for client meetings
· Updating and maintaining accurate client records on Intelliflo Office (iO)
· Processing new business and servicing requests
· Liaising with pension, investment and protection providers
· Tracking and progressing client cases to completion
· Managing adviser diaries and booking client meetings
· Responding to client and provider enquiries by telephone and email
· Preparing client paperwork and reports
· Scanning, filing and maintaining accurate electronic records
· Ensuring all activities are completed in line with regulatory and GDPR requirements
What We Are Looking For
Essential
· At least 2 years’ experience in a financial planning, wealth management or IFA administration role
· Previous experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) or financial planning practice
· Experience using Intelliflo Office (iO) highly preferable
· Strong understanding of the financial advice process
· Experience dealing with pensions, investments and protection business
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Desirable
· Experience supporting advisers and paraplanners in a directly authorised IFA firm
· Progress towards a financial services qualification
· Experience using provider and platform systems
Pay: £27,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
