Join an iconic Lincolnshire brand where great hospitality, great food and good coffee, done right, come together.
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and adaptable Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with people but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves behind the scenes. You'll be involved in all aspects of our food and beverage operation, from preparing and serving quality food and drinks to delivering excellent customer service and helping create a welcoming experience for every guest.
If you're someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in doing things properly, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking menu items to company standards
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Maintaining high standards of food presentation and service
- Ensuring dining, service and kitchen areas are clean, organised and welcoming
- Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times
- Serving customers in a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner
- Taking customer orders and processing payments accurately
- Supporting colleagues across the café, restaurant and kitchen as required
What we're looking for
We're interested in attitude as much as experience. You'll be:
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused
- Passionate about delivering excellent hospitality
- Confident preparing and cooking food in a busy environment
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Reliable, organised and adaptable
- A strong team player who enjoys supporting colleagues
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
- Comfortable working flexibly, including weekends and busy periods
Experience that's helpful but not essential
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, cafés, restaurants or food service
- Experience preparing or cooking food in a commercial environment
- Food hygiene certification
- Knowledge of food safety and allergen requirements
We're looking for someone who takes pride in creating great experiences for customers, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to contribute to a business built on heritage and expertise, community and connection, growth and learning, and sustainability, responsibility and transparency.
If you're passionate about great food, great service and being part of a fantastic team, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and help us continue serving memorable experiences, one customer at a time.
