Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and customer service, seeking a dynamic and active position within a reputable organisation.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, to complete multiple daily deliveries
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling
Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and in accordance with customer requirements
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during daily operations

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop experience
Valid UK driving licence, held for a minimum 2 years
Experience in commercial driving, demonstrating safe driving practices over long distances
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting and manual handling
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members
Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently as part of daily duties
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries within tight schedules
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, prioritise safety, and enjoy working on the move.

This is a self employed position requiring 5 days a week - more available if required

Pay: £100.00-£120.00 per day
