Job description:

Miller Knight are looking to recruit a Stores Administrator to join our dynamic and fast–paced business, which has experienced substantial growth and has exciting plans for future development.

As our Stores Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are organised and efficient, as well as managing essential paperwork and administration. You will provide vital support to our Site Teams and Buying Department, helping to ensure projects stay on schedule and deadlines are met.

What you will do

· Manage the asset management software, keeping records up to date.

· Booking goods and materials in and out.

· Physically pick and prepare materials, tools and equipment for collection by the site teams from our stores.

· Keep the stores area tidy, safe, and well-organised.

· Maintain accurate stock records using our inventory system.

· Registering tools and equipment for warranty.

· PAT Testing of electrical tools and equipment.

Additional duties include

· Supporting the wider operations team with general office and administration tasks.

· Greeting visitors.

· Taking deliveries.

· Printing photocopying and scanning of site paperwork.

· Telephone reception – excellent phone manner taking calls for the business.

The ideal applicant will be a highly motivated, reliable individual who has good administrative and communication skills along with a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent numeracy skills (Minimum GCSE Maths Grade 4/C)

· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Good communication skills (Minimum GCSE English Grade 4/C)

· A proactive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to help where needed

· Experience in PAT Testing

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Driving license preferable
