Job Overview

Prestige Country Parks is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Mainly based at our Malton Grange office.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests on arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Handle telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Manage reservations and booking systems accurately.
Provide guests with information about lodge facilities, local attractions, and services.
Process payments and maintain accurate records.
Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure lodges are prepared and maintained to company standards.
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area.
Support the wider team with administrative duties as required.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Fully training to be given to the right candidate.

Working Hours

Part time position, 3 days a week 9am till 5pm on a rota basis including weekends. Provisionally 2 weekdays and a Saturday a week. Extra hours may be available covering other park locations and staff holiday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
