Full job description

Technolog Group has over 40 years' experience in the water and gas industry. We design and manufacture battery powered data loggers and electronic pressure controllers for water & gas distribution networks, including intrinsically safe products for use in explosive atmospheres. Our products, systems and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of water and gas networks.

Working as part of the Production Team, you will be involved in the assembly and testing of a wide range of handheld battery powered data logging services.

Duties Include:

Under the supervision of your Leading Technician, you will work to a production schedule operating in a busy assembly environment on a variety of processes. You will closely follow Engineering instructions to assemble, test and release to internal Quality Control, intricate and technical electronic equipment.

The successful candidate will:

Follow detailed engineering instructions to assemble, test, and prepare products for quality inspection
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and soldering irons (training provided)
Work across a variety of processes and batch sizes, depending on the product
Keep accurate records using our computer systems
Meet production and quality targets in a clean, supportive work environment

Person Specification:

Hands-on and practical, with good coordination
Careful and accurate, with great attention to detail
Comfortable using computers for tasks like entering data or following test instructions
A clear communicator, and a positive team player
Flexible and happy to support other departments when needed

Experience & Training:

Previous electronics or production experience is desirable, but not essential
Any relevant qualifications (e.g. basic electronics or technology) are welcome
Full training and mentoring will be provided
