Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team in the role of bricklayer. This position involves hands-on construction, renovation, and maintenance tasks across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and have experience working with a range of tools and materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and project success.

Responsibilities

Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry and groundwork’s tasks.
Lay bricks and blocks accurately following specified designs and measurements.
Assist with site preparation, material handling, and clean-up to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work meets quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels.
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
Knowledge of construction safety protocols and practices.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are advantageous but not essential. This role offers an engaging environment for those passionate about construction trades and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship. Applicants should demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to their work duties.
