We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, prepare and serve drinks, maintain a clean and welcoming bar area, and support the smooth running of the venue during busy service periods.
Both full-time and part-time team members are expected to deliver the same high standard of service, with working hours varying according to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Process cash and card payments using the till/POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, restaurant and customer areas.
- Restock fridges, shelves and bar supplies throughout shifts.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Ensure all drinks are served responsibly in line with licensing laws.
- Assist with restaurant service when required.
- Support weddings, private functions and special events.
- Set up and clear down function rooms and bar areas.
- Follow all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Complete opening and closing duties as required.
Full-Time Bar PersonHours
- Typically 35–45 hours per week.
- Flexible working pattern including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support with staff training and mentoring where required.
- Assist with stock ordering and stock counts.
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the premises.
- Help coordinate bar operations during busy periods and functions.
- Provide additional support across the restaurant and events when needed.
Part-Time Bar PersonHours
- Typically 8–30 hours per week.
- Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Additional hours may be available during busy periods and events.
Focus
- Deliver excellent customer service during assigned shifts.
- Support busy service periods, functions and weekend trade.
- Assist with bar preparation and closing duties.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Reliable and punctual.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
