As our lettings portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Lettings Administrator to join our friendly and professional team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that will suit someone who enjoys helping people, thrives on organisation, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our busy lettings department.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing enquiries from prospective tenants and landlords
- Coordinating property viewings and applicant registrations
- Processing tenancy applications and referencing
- Preparing tenancy agreements and associated documentation
- Registering and protecting tenancy deposits
- Monitoring and managing compliance requirements including EPCs, Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs and other statutory documentation
- Coordinating maintenance issues and liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors
- Obtaining quotations and monitoring repair progress
- Updating property management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with tenancy renewals, rent reviews and end-of-tenancy administration
- Handling telephone calls, emails and general office enquiries
- Supporting the wider lettings team with administrative duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is exceptionally organised with excellent attention to detail
- Has strong administrative skills and can manage multiple tasks effectively
- Is confident communicating with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues
- Is highly proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software systems
- Embraces technology and enjoys finding efficient ways of working
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Maintains a professional and positive attitude, even when working under pressure
Experience
Whilst previous lettings, property management or estate agency experience would be advantageous, it is not essential for the right candidate. Full training will be provided. We are primarily looking for someone with excellent organisational abilities, strong administration skills and a willingness to learn.
