Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant to join our professional team. The successful candidate will support optometrists in delivering exceptional eye care services and assist with various administrative and clinical tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the optical industry, providing valuable experience in a friendly and professional environment.

Taking precise measurements of patients' eyes for spectacles and contact lenses
Supporting the fitting and adjustment of spectacles and contact lenses
Managing patient records accurately and efficiently
Providing excellent customer service by answering queries and guiding patients through their options
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the optical laboratory and consultation areas
Assisting with stock management, including ordering supplies and verifying deliveries

Qualifications

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
Ability to work well within a team environment
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointments
