Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively dining environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing friendly service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring our guests enjoy their visit. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued. This position is fully paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and possess strong organisational skills.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service
Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
Assist with food preparation tasks when required, adhering to hygiene protocols
Provide excellent guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques
Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions accurately
Good organisational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus, especially culinary knowledge
Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales performance
Guest service orientation with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
