Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, contributing to guest satisfaction and overall hotel operations.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out procedures
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to high standards
Process payments accurately using the hotel's booking system
Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hospitality at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in a hotel reception or customer service role is preferred
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of hotel management software systems is advantageous
A friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for hospitality and guest services
