Job Overview
Rencraft Ltd have been designing, making and finishing award winning bespoke kitchens and furniture in the Kent Countryside for over 45 years. Quality and sustainability are at the heart of what we do.

Due to a strong order book we are seeking to recruit the following full time position based at our workshop near Sevenoaks. Own transport is essential.

Position: Experienced Cabinet Maker, with a commitment to craftsmanship, accuracy and safety.

Role: You will be manufacturing bespoke cabinetry and fitted furniture as part of the Workshop Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinetry.

This role involves the finishing of bespoke cabinetry such as hanging doors, fitting frames, installing fixtures & fittings along with checking and inspecting work to ensure it meets specification. Working with a range of woods using a variety of handheld power tools and woodworking machinery.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-years proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar.
Proficiency and confidence in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and drills.
A strong understanding of joinery techniques and principles.
Ability to set up and use woodworking machinery.
Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently.
You will have the ability to work well independently and as part of the workshop team
To be able to read drawings and work to precise specifications
To have pride in your work and our kitchens.

This is an excellent opportunity if you have a genuine interest and passion for woodworking and a willingness to learn. The right candidate should be responsible, happy to do manual work and be hands-on in a busy workshop environment.
