Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Labourer to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the Farms milking and scraping routine.

Duties

Milking in a herringbone parlour with one other, including a mixture of early mornings, midday and evening milkings.
Using a tractor to scrape cubicle housing during milkings, also a mixture of morning, midaay and evening milkings.
Supporting general farm maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in tractor driving/ scraping.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Knowledge of milking practices is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical fitness to undertake manual labour

This role offers an engaging environment where hard work is valued and opportunities for skill development are available. Successful applicants will contribute significantly to the smooth running of our farm operations while gaining practical experience in agriculture.
