Be the person who keeps everything moving
Some people are happiest when things are organised.
They enjoy bringing structure to busy days, solving problems before they become bigger issues and making life easier for the people around them.
They're the people who naturally think ahead, spot what needs doing and take pride in getting the details right.
If that sounds like you, keep reading.
Cube Controls is a specialist building management systems business that helps clients improve the efficiency, performance and sustainability of their buildings.
Our reputation has been built on technical expertise, reliability and long-standing customer relationships. We work closely with customers to help them get the best performance from their buildings, delivering high-quality solutions backed by exceptional service and industry knowledge.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Operations Coordinator to become a key part of our team.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with information, documentation, technical reports, drawings and processes. While there is some communication with customers, suppliers and subcontractors, this forms a relatively small part of the role. The majority of your time will be spent coordinating projects behind the scenes, maintaining accurate records, reviewing technical information, supporting quotations and helping ensure operational processes run smoothly.
If you're someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, working with detail and becoming the person others rely on to keep things organised, this could be an excellent fit.
Why this role matters
Like many successful businesses, there are a handful of people who carry a huge amount of knowledge and responsibility.
We're creating this role because we want to strengthen the business for the future and create greater resilience within our operations team.
You'll work closely with Gareth, our Operations Manager, who will provide full training and support. Gareth brings extensive industry knowledge and is committed to helping people learn, develop and succeed.
Over time, you'll become someone the team relies on. A trusted organiser and coordinator who helps ensure projects, information and operational processes run efficiently and consistently.
What you'll be doing
- Reviewing technical reports, documentation and drawings
- Maintaining accurate project records, operational systems and documentation
- Assisting with remedial works quotations and project administration
- Gathering information from engineers, including labour requirements, materials and timescales
- Supporting the planning and coordination of projects and maintenance works

We're likely to be a great fit if you...
- Love being organised and creating structure

- Enjoy working with technical information, drawings, reports and detailed documentation
- Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Enjoy solving problems and finding practical solutions
- Communicate confidently and professionally
- Like learning new things
- Can manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
- Enjoy helping others succeed
- Build trust through reliability and consistency
Experience in operations, project coordination, technical administration, engineering or construction-related environments would be helpful, but it isn't essential.
What matters most is your attitude, curiosity, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
What you'll get in return
- £28,000 – £33,000 salary
- Performance bonus linked to company and individual performance (paid before Christmas)
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Additional paid leave between Christmas and New Year
- Full training and support
- Opportunity to develop your career within a growing business
- Potential future progression into project management
- The chance to join a supportive, down-to-earth team where your contribution genuinely matters
This could be the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, thrives on organisation and accuracy, and wants to build a long-term career within a respected and growing business.
