Full job description

Seasonal Staff Wanted – Join Our Team

We’re looking for a seasonal team member to join our busy wine bar and bottle shop in the heart of St Ives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves great drinks, enjoys working with people, and is keen to deepen their knowledge in a specialist retail environment. * Please note: This is a part-time, temporary position running from now until the end of September. Evening and weekend availability is essential. *

The role will include:

Welcoming, serving, and advising customers with confidence and warmth
Supporting sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience
Replenishing and merchandising stock
Operating tills and assisting with cashing up
Supporting our coffee counter and wine bar service

(Barista experience is a bonus, but not essential. Experience with wine service is highly desirable.)

We’re looking for someone who:

Has a professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
Communicates confidently and enjoys selling
Has a genuine interest in wine, spirits, and beer
Is eager to learn and build their product knowledge
Has previous drinks or hospitality experience (preferred)
Holds WSET qualifications (advantageous, but not essential)
