Groundskeeper/ Estate Maintenance Operative (Part Time)

Location: Multiple sites
Hours: Part Time
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper to maintain both private property and business premises. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards across gardens, grounds, and outdoor areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all external areas are well-presented, safe, and maintained throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

* General grounds maintenance

* Hedge trimming, pruning, and planting

* Weed control and upkeep of flower beds and landscaped areas

* Leaf clearance and seasonal maintenance

* Maintaining driveways, pathways, car parks, and outdoor communal areas

* General property maintenance and minor repairs as required

* Monitoring grounds for potential issues and reporting maintenance needs

* Ensuring the grounds remain tidy, safe, and presentable at all times

* Assisting with occasional site improvement projects and landscaping projects.

Requirements

* Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, estate management, or a similar role

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Good practical and problem-solving skills

* Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment

* Full UK driving licence preferred

* Reliable, trustworthy, and professional

* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
