Key Responsibilities

Lead and support system verification activities, including system, qualification, and flight testing

Prepare clear, robust qualification plans, procedures, and reports to support programme milestones

Support system certification and customer approval activities

Work within rigorous configuration control, review, and change management processes

Contribute to estimates, task planning, and risk management activities

Build trusted customer relationships by responding to requests promptly and professionally

Collaborate closely with engineering teams and wider business functions to deliver successful outcomes

Engage with external subcontract organisations where required
Essential skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for this position
-
Experience preparing plans, procedures, and reports for qualification programmes, including environmental and EMC testing to DO-160G or equivalent military standards

A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly

Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach

Confident decision-making ability and sound engineering judgement

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and present findings

A well-organised, detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities

The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers

Intermediate knowledge of PC software applications and a strong understanding of PC operating systems
