Team Leader
LOCATION: Weymouth
HOURS: 37.5 per week
SALARY: £29,080
DURATION: Permanent

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults and leading a team that creates real change in people’s lives?
We are looking for a resilient and compassionate Team Leader to join a specialist Rough Sleeper Outreach Service supporting adults experiencing homelessness across Dorset.
This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated outreach team delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support to individuals with complex needs, helping them move towards sustainable independence and improved wellbeing.
The Role
As Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of outreach services, ensuring high-quality support is provided to people who may be experiencing homelessness, mental ill-health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, or involvement with the criminal justice system.
You will play a key role in motivating staff, coordinating support services, and building strong partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support an outreach team delivering trauma-informed and strengths-based support
Manage day-to-day service delivery and ensure high standards of care
Build effective relationships with partner agencies and community organisations
Support individuals with complex needs to access housing, health, and support services
Promote positive outcomes, independence, and long-term stability for clients
Represent the service within the local community and at partnership meetings
Participate in an outreach rota including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
Previous experience within homelessness, outreach, supported housing, mental health, or related services
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A compassionate and proactive approach to support work
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes
Business insurance will be required for travel related to the role
