About the Role
The Retail Admin Assistant individual will be working in a fast-paced environment and so being able to react to change quickly is needed.
We always have several different projects on to drive sale and reduce cost, so being able to balance a number of tasks at once is key. The role is focused around completing day to day administrative tasks and organising key events throughout the year.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
- Organising key events throughout the year, this would include; finding quotes for best prices, booking hotels and arranging conference requirements
- As part of event management, the individual will often be required to consolidate and/or produce PowerPoint presentations
- Produce the monthly staff newsletter to send out to our stores
- Using our ticketing system to deal with store requests as they come through
- Managing store queries and raising Purchase Orders where required
- Ordering uniform for store and deli staff as requested
- Dealing with store requests for PPE/First Aid supplies as needed
- Dealing with store requests for Staff Discount cards and providing the relevant information for them to be created and sent to stores
- Office Maintenance; Ordering supplies, dealing with vendors and preparing meetings
- Other administrative tasks as required from the wider Retail Team

- Interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with colleagues, stakeholders, vendors and visitors
- Flexible to the needs of the business and good time management skills
- Organisation and planning
- Very good communication skills, within a team but with key stakeholders within the business too
- Attention to detail within all work complete with high accuracy for data entry and correspondence
- Creativity skills when producing the staff newsletter and PowerPoint presentations
Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Good knowledge of the following programmes; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
